On 6 and 7 September 2024, the Cannizzaro lecture theatre at the University of Messina will host the first Summer School organised by the University’s PhD programme in Cognitive Sciences on the theme of health, entitled “Connected Minds: Health, Society and Digital Technologies”. The title reflects the multidisciplinary intersection of the themes the Summer School aims to explore, placing the emphasis on mental health as the focal point of a broad spectrum of cognitive, social and technological issues. Experts from various disciplinary fields will speak, in keeping with the PhD programme’s tradition, to offer participants a comprehensive view of health, exploring how technology is transforming the healthcare sector and what the ethical, social, psychological and philosophical implications of these changes are.
