Quality Assurance

The Doctoral Quality Assurance Group consists of at least five members appointed by the Board on the recommendation of the Coordinator. The Course Coordinator is an ex officio member and chairs the group. The other members are the Deputy Coordinator and one or more members of the Board, including external members, at least one doctoral student and one member of the technical-administrative staff.

The term of office is three years. The three-year period begins at the start of the academic year. Any members who join during the three academic years remain in office until the end of the Group's term.

The Group is convened by the Chair at least once a year and draws up minutes.

The Group has the following tasks:

a) participates in the redesign and management of the Programme;

b) monitoring data relating to the progress of the Course with regard to training and research activities, public and social engagement activities - third mission (IPS-TM) and support services;

c) supporting the Coordinator in analysing the performance indicators of the Doctorate and the results of surveys of the opinions of doctoral students and PhD graduates;

d) supports the Coordinator in preparing the annual report of the Doctorate, identifying strengths and weaknesses, and actions for improvement;

e) supports the Coordinator in carrying out the cyclical review of the Doctoral Programme to ensure its alignment with cultural and scientific developments in the relevant scientific areas, also taking into account consultations with external stakeholders;

f) drafts the self-assessment document for the hearings of the Evaluation Committee and the ANVUR visits for the periodic accreditation of the doctoral programme.
