Naimeh Masoumi holds a Bachelor of Arts in General Psychology from the University of Mohaghegh Ardabili -Iran (2008–2011) and a Master of Arts in General Psychology from Islamic Azad University of Tabriz -Iran (2013–2016), with a thesis on the role of identity, psychological well-being, and basic psychological needs in predicting attitudes toward advertising among young adults in Tabriz. She also completed a one-year MBA program at the School of Management and Economics, Sharif University of Technology-Iran (2021–2022). She is currently completing a Master’s degree in Cognitive Science and Theory of Communication at the University of Messina -Italy, Department of Cognitive Sciences, Psychological, Pedagogical and Cultural Studies (COSPECS) (2022–2025), with a thesis focused on a tablet-based cognitive-flexibility protocol for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Her academic experience also includes the development of a conceptual digital therapy application for Persian-speaking immigrant women as a part of Human–Computer Interaction course (2024), and Master’s thesis research conducted in collaboration with the CNR research institute.

This research focuses on the design, implementation, and evaluation of a tablet-based intervention to improve cognitive flexibility in children with Autism Spectrum Disorder by integrating cognitive science, developmental psychology, and human–computer interaction to support executive-function training and promote the generalization of skills in everyday contexts.
